Reviews

Maxwell - Ashfield School - 2020

A very emotional book with three main characters however I think that there could be more main characters as I don't think that there were enough

Erin - White Hills Park Federation - 2020

Reading Dog was an enjoyable thing to do, the book had wildlife and adventure but also showed you the other side of the characters, maybe the characters being sad or angry. I gave Dog 3 stars because when it came to the end I had got a little bit bored. I really enjoyed the characters the flea and the fox because they were really fun things to read about.

Iris - White Hills Park Federation - 2020

An amazing book. I loved the different animals all contributing to one special cause. I feel like this could be helpful to us humans to help those we wouldn't usually help or associate ourselves with. I think it also gives an important message to dog owners about caring for their pets and treating them like they should. I personally would recommend dog to an 8 year old or above.

Ruth - White Hills Park Federation - 2020

This was a great book about all sorts of animals, big and small and I like that! The book was very sad at times but I'm glad it ended happily! I would recommend this book to animal lovers 10 and over.

Amelia - Ashfield School - 2020

This book was great at grabbing my attention and bringing me close to tears. If I had a dog I would definitely be cuddling it.

Holly - Bulwell Academy - 2020

This amazing book brings awareness to bullying and animal cruelty. It is told in the perspective of a dog called Spider and describes all of the terrible things that could happen to animals.

Angela - Nottingham Girls High School - 2020

Dog was very emotive and it had a great story line. It had many twists and turns to keep the reader on their toes.

Felicity - Nottingham Girls High School - 2020

Reading Dog was an enjoyable thing to do, The book had wildlife and adventure but also showed you the other side of the characters, maybe the characters being sad or angry. I gave Dog 3 stars because when it came to the end, I wasn't quite so interested. I really enjoyed the characters, the flea and the fox, because they were really fun things to read about.

Evelyn - Nottingham Girls High School - 2020

I thought Dog was a good read although it was a slightly odd topic. It was well written and strangely gripping.

Rachel - Nottingham Girls High School - 2020

It was odd!

Tyler - Outwood Academy Kirkby - 2020

On most books you can generally guess what will happen by the end, and that was it for Dog. However I could have never guessed what would happen throughout the book, and that was the fun of it. It was amazing to read, and always left you on the edge of your seat. At one moment, nothing may be happening, and then at the next Spider is inches away from death. Great, heartful and surprising, in a great way.

Harriet - Rushcliffe Spencer Academy - 2020

Dog is an amazing story of friendship and miracles! This book is both heart-warming and heart-breaking when lots of different animals work together!
