Reviews

Hicham - Kimberley School - 2018

Incredibly Funny Book. A Must Read!

Eve - Kimberley School - 2018

A good book but I got a little confused at some points on who the dog belonged to and who was who. A lovely plot twist when his father comes to support him and when Dog doesn't do what she was told. All in all, a good story.

Olivia - Kimberley School - 2018

I think this is a great book but it contains some strong language and shouldn't be given to read by any children under the age of 9 I think as it could influence them and set a bad explain for how they believe they should act.

Harry - Arnold Hill Academy - 2018

I really like this book because it is very adventurous and incredible! In this story this is kind of like me because i always keep secrets from my parents! When Paris signs them all into a local talent show everything gets tougher! Amazing book!!

Jeeya - Ellis Guilford School - 2018

I enjoyed reading the Incredible Billy Wild because it's a lovable book about friendship experienced through the love of dogs I also thought it was a page turner as it included an unexpected twist throughout the middle of the story. My favourite character is Paris as she is outgoing and bubbly and she is very confident which is what I admire so much about this character. I wish this book had been more imaginative towards the ending .

Mithraa - Fernwood School - 2018

Towdah - Fernwood School - 2018

Dear God, Thank you for creating a brilliant author to write a brilliant book. I loved it.

Very good, Great plot. I loved the cheekiness of Billy and also Johnny as they keep the dog. I would recommend this book to people aged 11-13 .

Abigail - White Hills Park Federation - 2018

Billy Wild was really good. At parts I would be laughing my head off and at others it could make me very sad. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes books that have an emotional story and lots of laughs.

Leo - White Hills Park Federation - 2018

I thought that Billy Wild was a great, unusual book that I wouldn't usually pick up, This has changed my opinion on a lot of books. Overall it was a good book that gripped me from the start.

Jacob - White Hills Park Federation - 2018

I really enjoyed reading this book because it has the right balance of comedy and suspense. There were points when I wondered what was happening next which is what makes a good book.

Aleksander - The Suthers School - 2018

The book reminds me of My sister lives on the mantel piece. It's really funny. I know this because billy the main character's brother Tommo says ' Especially not to Mrs Beasley from the shop, who is a beaky cow'. The quick summary I will give you all readers is : A boy with a dream of a dog has his dream come true and now he has a talent. After a long time reading it got a lot more awkward.

Rhianna - Kimberley School - 2018

This book was a very enjoyable read, holding a strong message that stays in your heart. It made me smile and laugh the whole way through. I would definitely recommend it to someone!

Ruby - Carlton Le Willows Academy - 2018

A truly INCREDIBLE book! Truthful, innocent, inspiring and funny! Billy Wild is a very driven character who, with the aid of Tommo, Johnny, Paris and Sonny, adopts a dog (named dog) and enters her into a talent show! A must-read! ;)

Fatimah - Carlton Le Willows Academy - 2018

This book I found was very confusing and hard to understand . There are a few bits which get interesting but overall I probably wouldn't recommend this book to my friends or people I know as I don't really understand the book myself but i think some people who observe the book more carefully might find it interesting.

Bradley - Hall Park Academy - 2018

The "Incredible Billy Wild" is a story about a young boy called Billy, he goes into his garden one day and he finds a Greyhound. This is an adventurous story where he has to raise the dog without his father knowing. His goal is to fix his fathers heart because his wife has recently passed away. Billy has to prepare for a talent show; he has taught Dog( the Greyhound) to sing. I really like this book, I recommend it to every one.

Olivia - All Saints Catholic Voluntary Academy - 2018

It was a really sad book but it also had some aspects of danger and drama. I think that it had a really good narrative and the idea of him writing to God was really good. However, i also think that it started a bit slow.

Thomas - The Suthers School - 2018

This book is quite funny and also quite daring, this was definitely one of the better books that I have read. :P

Koda - The Suthers School - 2018

it is fun and daring and it is like the best book i read in my life. it is sad because there is a greyhound and the boys have to take the dog back but the dog keeps following the boys home and then they keep it a secret from there dad so his heart melts .

Martha - Kimberley School - 2018

This book was really good and I really enjoyed it. I think Tommo was funny and what he said made me laugh.

Matt - Hall Park Academy - 2018

This was a boring book. None of the character's seem real, and seemed made up on the spot to fit various character tropes, like the evil relation, and parents working against the children who are trying to do something plot wise.
