This pulled me in as soon as I read the first chapter. I think introducing her new home in Imber was slow, but I loved all of the stories from the Witchstones. The book was very mysterious and gothic. One of the best books I've ever read.

This book was a very griping and enthralling story.Autumn ,the main character, is a very interesting person with intricate and deep emotions. I have loved being able to spend time getting to know Autumn and her story. I have definitely been feeling some of the same emotions as her as I've read through the book. It was a very exciting read and I highly reccomend it to anyone who loves a good mystery and adventure.

Autumn is a girl who (frustratingly) can see the dead; however, the one ghost she wants to appear never comes. This story follows Autumn and her mum as they adjust to their new life on Imber after her dad drowns at sea. Imber appears to be a nice peaceful island, but not everything is quite as it may seem. I thought the characters were well put together and really bring the book to life! In my opinion, this is an amazing book, and I recommend it to others.
